About Doss Murr 

I was born in Fredericksburg, TX but grew up in Junction, TX. Most of my hobbies include hunting, fishing, watching history documentaries, arts and crafts projects, sketch art work, and enjoy playing video games.

I attended elementary school through high school at J.I.S.D. Throughout most of my life, I have been a part of many activities. I was a part of the local Boy Scout Troop; I managed to work all the way up to Eagle Scout. I was also a part of the 4-H club and did many different activities such as the local stock show, food show, wool/mohair judging, and arts/craft. In addition to these activities, I was also a part of the FFA club in high school.

After I graduated from high school, I went to Howard College in Big Spring, TX to get my Associate of Arts in 2017. I participated in many different types of classes and activities while I attended. During my time at Howard College, I was a part of the adventure club. We went on one trip to a national park called Caprock Canyon, where we saw different types of wildlife including the American Bison. 

I also got to see different viewpoints throughout the entire canyon while we were out hiking, and they hosted mini events on school grounds that had prizes available. I was able to graduate from Howard College at the end 2019, and experienced a drive thru graduation ceremony due to the ongoing COVID pandemic.

After I graduated from Howard College, I applied to Angelo State University in 2020. There, I started my education for my career path in graphic design. During the quarantine, I was forced to do the rest of my school work in my own dorm. When the school re-opened in person classes in the fall that year, we were mandated to continue social distancing from each other. As time passed, we were able to do normal classes again. During my time at ASU, I learned about different types of programs that graphic designers use in the industry. I also attended other classes like sculpting, print making and drawing classes that taught me new methods of application in my graphic design work. In the spring of 2022, I was able to graduate from ASU with a GPA of 3.45 as a Cum Laude.
